traveling by KOREA Rail(KORAIL)
Your E-ticket is automatically cancelled and the amount is not charged if you do not change it into KR-Pass after your entrance into Korea.

Q : For how long is an e-Ticket valid?
A : From the date the passenger completes the purchase transaction, the passenger must exchange the e-ticket within 60 days at a official Korean National Railroad exchange office. If this period of validity expires then the transaction will be automatically canceled. There is no cancellation fee if automatic cancellation occurs.

[Remarks]
① “E-Ticket" is an electronic exchange ticket called KR PASS issued for online purchasers of train tickets at KORAIL English homepage (www.korail.go.kr). It is a voucher ticket to exchange into a regular passenger ticket once the passenger visits the designated ticket offices in Korea.
② “KR PASS” is a registered pass that cannot be used by any other individual whose name does not match the information on the voucher. You are not allowed to purchase more than two passes under your name.
③ Reservation is possible one year from the date of the entry date. Be careful that you will enter accurate passport information and credit card number (VISA, MASTER, AMEX, JCB or DINERS) for reservation and your identity confirmation when you reserve or purchase E-Ticket at KORAIL Homepage. Please note that you must purchase the ticket at least five days before the entry date.
④ Reservation is possible one year from your date of entry. If there is a price change after your reservation, the changed price will be applied at the time of your purchase. However, once you purchase the ticket, such price change does not affect your ticket price.
⑤ After reservation, if you do not purchase at least five days before the entry date then the reservation content is automatically voided. if you do not exchange the voucher within 60 days of purchase, the purchase content will be automatically cancelled. E-Ticket must be exchanged to KR PASS within 60 days of purchase. If this is not completed within the stated period, the tickets will be canceled automatically and no cancellation fee is charged. If your tickets arecancelled, but you wish to reserve the tickets again, go to the initial reservation page, click on reservation button and then enter all the necessary personalalong with the PASS types.
